The Edit.
Your brand identity, built right.
Starting a brand new business, or a business that's outgrown the identity it's using? The Edit builds a visual identity that's intentional, consistent and unmistakably you — from a clean slate, or from what you've already got.
Not every brand starts from the same place.
Starting completely from zero. A new business or new product needs a full identity built from the ground up: positioning, logo, complete visual identity and brand guidelines — made to launch with confidence, not stitched together from templates.
Start my brand →Your business has evolved. Your brand hasn't caught up yet. For businesses that already have something solid — an offer, an audience, a reputation — but no longer recognise themselves in the identity they're using. We refine what works and rebuild what doesn't.
Give it The Edit →Same care, whichever you need.
We begin by understanding your positioning, audience and goals — whether that's from a blank page or from the gap between your current identity and the business you are today. Then we turn that clarity into a visual system that feels intentional, consistent and unmistakably you, everywhere your brand shows up.
Less random font-swapping. More knowing exactly what belongs.
The Refresh might be your plot if…
- You've grown, but your brand still looks like an earlier version of you.
- You feel disconnected from your current identity and it's making everything feel off.
- Your visual identity is inconsistent, DIY, or held together by good intentions.
- You want your brand to communicate clearly and confidently, without overcomplicating it.
New Brand might be your plot if…
- You're launching a new business, product or side of your business.
- You don't have a visual identity yet — or what exists was never really designed.
- You want to walk in with something that already looks like it belongs.
- You'd rather build it right the first time than redo it in two years.
What actually lands in your inbox…
A strategic summary of your positioning, audience, personality and brand pillars — a shared understanding of what your brand stands for and which ideas should guide every future creative decision.
The visual concept that translates your strategy into a direction — mood, tone and reference points before any design is finalised.
Your refined colour palette, typography direction and core identity assets, applied consistently across the brand.
The identity applied to real, everyday touchpoints, so you can see and feel how it holds up in the real world.
A clear reference guide so anyone — you, a designer, a freelancer — can use the identity consistently.
Everything organised and exported in the formats you'll actually need, handed over with a walkthrough.
What I'll care of…
- Reviewing your current identity and brand touchpoints
- Researching your audience, market and competitive environment
- Clarifying your positioning and key brand messages
- Developing the creative concept and visual direction
- Designing your complete visual identity
- Applying the identity across three agreed touchpoints
- Presenting and explaining every strategic and creative decision
- Managing the agreed rounds of refinement
- Preparing your brand guide, and organising your final files
What I'll need from you…
- A thoughtful questionnaire. Helps me understand your business, audience and ambitions before we begin. You don't need all the answers — finding them is part of the process.
- Your existing materials. Logos, previous guidelines, website links, presentations, social content — anything that helps me understand the current brand.
- Honest feedback. You don't need fluent design language, just what feels right and why. "I don't know how to explain it, but…" is a perfectly valid place to start.
- Your availability. Three key meetings across the project, with timely feedback to keep things moving.
From first call to final files.

The direction gets developed into a complete visual identity, and applied to your selected touchpoints.
04 · Deliver
After final refinements, your brand guide and every asset are organised and handed over.

The questions in your other browser tabs…
Naming can be added to your New Brand proposal if you need help landing on a name before we design around it.
Yes. If your current logo still supports the direction your brand needs, we refine it rather than replace it. If it's holding the identity back, I'll explain why and recommend the right approach before we start designing.
That's exactly what the strategy phase is for. We start from your business and audience, not a mood board — the direction gets built together.
Yes — you'll receive organised, ready-to-use files plus brand guidelines so your team or any freelancer can apply the identity consistently.
We simply add it to the proposal — extra touchpoints, naming, copywriting or photography can all be scoped in.
The Edit focuses on strategy and identity; if you also need a website built or refreshed around it, that's exactly what The Build covers.
Typically 3–4 weeks for The Refresh, 3–5 weeks for New Brand, from kickoff to final files — depending on feedback turnaround and scope.
